By now I’m sure you know how much I adore my husband even so I am a pretty horrible gift giver! My husband is the worst to shop for. I usually can’t afford anything I think will be perfect…
He really is happy with anything but it’s hard to get him genuinely excited about a gift. So I decided to get him a gift he would definitely love good FOOD!
I was complaining and moaning about how I couldn’t figure out a good gift to get him this year on Facebook and one of my awesome readers told me about Shari’s Berries and it hit me in the brain like you wouldn’t believe! So I contacted them!
Drew and I are total foodies! One thing we love to do together is go to the chocolate factory here in Vegas and buy freshly made hand dipped strawberries and super yummy chocolates. Unfortunately I imagine every tourist and local alike is probably cram packed into that place right about now. My other option was to buy some berries and hand dip them. Yeah right! I love to cook but like Sweet Brown would say “ain’t nobody got time for that!”
So… I checked out the Shari’s Berries site. My first impression was how glad I was the URL was something easy Berries.com. I have the memory of a damp french fry but even I won’t forget that one anytime soon.
The berries looked super yummy so I was like FINE! Let’s do this thing!
I ordered Two Full Dozen Gourmet Dipped Swizzled Strawberries with an add-on of 3 dipped Oreo cookies. They had ton’s of coupons on the site so you know I had to use one of them and ended up getting an incredible deal! Usually I pay 6 dollars a piece for the strawberries at the chocolate factory and so maybe I went a little bit crazy and ordered 24 for 50 dollars. I couldn’t stop myself at $2 a piece!
Of course I was late getting things done as always, luckily they had overnight shipping for roughly the same price I expected to pay for normal shipping so it was from my brain to my door in 24 hours. The berries arrived safe an sound in their own cooler with ice packs to ensure the chocolate didn’t melt! I was genuinely impressed with how easy the whole paying for them and getting them here in good shape
process was!
Once they got here I had to torture myself and wait for Drew to get home from work so we could open them. They came all cute in a nice candy style box with a bow on top. I may have taken a peek and maybe just a little sniff before he got home. <3 I appreciate the bow reminding me this was a gift so don’t go getting all piggy and devouring them before the grand reveal!
Drew finally got home and it was time to reveal my super gift! He was so happy! He was seemed genuinely excited to have gotten these glorious chocolate covered berries for Valentines Day! YAY!
The flavor was amazing! The quality of the chocolate was good but the real win was how sweet and juicy the berries themselves were!
Confession time!
That first night we didn’t have a normal dinner we just ate ton’s of chocolate covered strawberries! He said it was one of the best gifts I’ve gotten for him? I would have thought that was insulting if the berries hadn’t been so darn good!
Overall the process was super simple, not crazy expensive, and delicious! I highly recommend Shari’s Berries for your husband, your mom, yourself, birthdays, Valentines, really anytime you can fit berries in it’s going to be a good time for everyone involved!
There are several companies associated with Shari’s Berries including Pro Flowers, Pro Plants, Red Envelope, Personal Creations, and Cherry Moon Farms. Since I had such a nice experience from Shari’s Berries I plan on checking out some of the others as well!
Go get yourselves some berries! You’re beautiful and you deserve it! www.Berries.com
Disclosure: Shari’s Berries gave me a substantial discount for telling you guys about their berries. I always give honest opinions from my own point of view. If they had been yucky I would have totally told you and it would have in no way affected my discount. Thanks for always supporting SparkleCore and the companies that help make this site possible!

These look like the perfect treat for Valentines Day. Great Review.

ReplyDeleteThis is a super duper sweet gift!!! I know I would love to receive something like this for Valentine but unfortunately we don't celebrate it
ReplyDeleteLove the idea! My husband isn't a strawberry fan, but I sure am which would mean I wouldn't even have to share! I'll have to leave a subtle hint about the site in hopes I might be lucky enough to get some for a Mother's Day gift <3
ReplyDeleteTotally! They have cakes, and cherries, and cookies and whatnot also!
ReplyDeleteSo good!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was an easy one to do!
ReplyDeleteMy husband doesn't quite like chocolate but he loves strawberries! I might have to just go buy a bag of those and eat the choco covered ones all by MYSELF!
